Lifetime Achievement Award

Since 2023, this biennial award has recognized lifetime achievement and lasting contributions to KASTRO and to the Korean oncology community. Nominations are accepted from all active KASTRO members and reviewed by the KASTRO executive board and officers.

2023

The inaugural KASTRO Lifetime Achievement Award was presented in 2023 by Dr Nathan Kim and Dr Isabelle Choi to Dr Chul S Ha, Professor and Chair Emeritus, UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson.

2026

The 2nd KASTRO Lifetime Achievement Award was presented in 2026 by Dr Chul S Ha and Dr Warren Suh to Dr Chung-taik Chung, Professor Emeritus at SUNY Upstate.
